Thomas B. White, M.A.
Founder and President of Frontline Ministries, Tom White conducts
an international ministry developing city-wide prayer movements,
and teaching in the areas of spiritual warfare, intercession and
strategic city-reaching. Tom has emerged as a recognized practitioner
and expert in city transformation-building unity among leaders and
churches to catalyze vision for more effectively reaching their
communities. Currently he serves as a coach for the Mission America Coalition strategy for city-reaching, "Loving our City to Christ."
Tom holds degrees from San Diego State University (B.A.,

and powers." Tom traveled for two years as an itinerant teacher
with O.C. International, and served as an elder and associate pastor
at Northwest Hills Baptist Church (Corvallis, OR) from 1979 to 1983.
In the early 1980's, Tom pioneered and devoloped teaching on a
"reasoned, seasoned approach to spiritual warfare" for
churches and para-church organizations. He also offers advanced
teaching to leaders and intercessors on discerning and dealing with
evil supernaturalism. He speaks frequently at conferences, leadership
retreats, professional symposiums, Seminaries and Bible colleges.
He also serves as a consultant to church leaders and missionary
organizations. Tom has ministered extensively in Asia, South America,
Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
In 1990, he published The Believer's Guide to Spiritual Warfare
(Servant Publications), a best selling and practical work designed
for both the leader and lay person facing spiritual warfare issues.
In September 1992, Tom served on the Prayer Committee for the Greater
Portland Billy Graham Crusade, helping train and mobilize intercessors.
1993 brought the publication of Breaking Strongholds: How Spiritual
Warfare Sets Captives Free, practical instruction on the warfare
dimension of prayer evangelism. He has recently published City-Wide
Prayer Movements: One Church, Many Congregations, a practioners
guide to birthing and building a city or regional movement of prayer.
He has also published articles in Discipleship Journal and
PRAY! Magazine.
Tom White is a leader in the growing movement of prayer in the
Body of Christ worldwide. He is an active member of the Mission
America Coalition, and in March, 1999 was appointed to serve on
America's National Prayer Committee. Tom has facilitated hundreds of Leaders Prayer Summits in the U.S., Canada, Japan,
Russia, Australia and Israel, Europe, Sri Lanka, and India. He also serves in a consulting
relationship with select cities. Tom's teaching gift is further
employed in prayer conferences, particularly where a "city
church" paradigm of united prayer and worship is emerging.
Tom and his wife Terri live in Corvallis, Oregon, giving leadership
to the "Church of the Valley," a unique movement of prayer
among over eighty churches in Oregon's mid-Willamette Valley, and the "CitiChurch of Corvallis." Their
son Josh is pursuing a graduate degree in international relations at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C., and
